Mike Kras of the Beursfoon Rockstar Suzuki Team has won the christmas race in Reusel. In the first moto he took a good start and after four corners he took over the lead and never looked back. In the second moto he took a not so good start and had to come back from eight position. During the race he worked his way back up to third position. This position was enough to take the overall win so Mike decided to take no unnecessary risks anymore and settled for third position.

Due to the bad weather circumstances on Friday and Saturday the track was really muddy when the practice sessions started. Mike tried to put a fast lap together in the beginning of the session because the track got more worse when the session went on. Mike’s lap went perfect and he managed to take the pole position.

Before the start of the first race Mike took his time to prepare his rut behind the starting gate. When the gate dropped he took a good start and went into the first corner in second position. He started the put the pressure on the leader straight away and managed to take over the lead in the fourth corner. Soon after he had a big gap over himself and the second place rider and decided to take no unnecessary risks anymore. The track was really tricky but Mike made no mistakes and managed to win the race.

In the second moto his start wasn’t so good and this time he had to come back from eight position. During the race he worked his way back up to third position and this was enough to win the overall. In the rest of the race Mike took it easy and settled for third position.

With a 1-3 in the motos he took the overall win in Reusel. Next weekend he will participate in the third round of the German Supercross Series in Munich.
