Mike Kras of the Beursfoon Rockstar Suzuki Team finished on the podium at round six of the EMX 250 series in Loket in the Czech Republic. Mike took a good start in the final and crossed the finish line in third position.
The track had been changed on several places and also the start was on the other side of the track. The track was hard with a lot of stones which made it slippery. On Saturday things were going fine for Mike and he qualified himself in sixth position in his group.
Mike knew that a good start in the final was the key for success. Mike started the race around fifth position and was aggressive in the first few corners. He worked himself up into fourth position and after a few laps he started to put the pressure on the third place rider. After a few laps he made a nice pass on him and took over sixth position. The two leaders were already to far gone so Mike settled for third position.
After six rounds Mike sits in sixth position in the championship. In three weeks time the series continues in Matterley Basin, Great Britain.
