Mike Kras of the Beursfoon Rockstar Suzuki Team finished sixth overall at round seven of the ADAC MX Masters Series in Emmercompascuum last weekend. In the muddy circumstances he was riding twee consistent motos. Micha Boy de Waal gave everything he had in the youngster class. In the first moto he had to go back to the pits for a new goggle. From the back of the pack he charged back to sixth position but crashed really hard in the final lap and finally he finished the race in fifteenth position. In the second moto he came out of the first lap really well. Unfortunately he stalled his bike and lost a lot of time there. In the rest of the race he gave everything he had and finished the race in fourteenth position.

The track circumstances were really good on Saturday. Mike set the fourth fastest time in his group in the Masters class and Micha Boy was the fastest rider in his group in the youngster class. Unfortunately it started to rain on Saturday afternoon and it didn’t stopped. On Sunday morning the track was so muddy that only a few riders decided to do the warm up.

At the start of the first moto Mike got a lot of water on his goggles and he had to throw them away already in the second corner. Mike couldn’t do more than to ride as consistent as possible. Mike was riding in sixth position for the complete moto and finished in this position after thirty minutes and two laps. In the second moto he took a really good start and came out of the first lap in fifth position. In the beginning of the race he managed to pass Xavier Boog for fourth position. Because of the water on the track he got some bike problems and had to lower the pace. This cost him a few positions and finally he finished the race in seventh position. With these results he finished sixth overall.

In the first moto of the youngster class Micha Boy had to go back to the pits for a new goggle at the end of the first lap. This cost him a lot of time and he came back on the track in the back of the pack. Micha Boy was riding fast lap times and worked himself back up to sixth position. Unfortunately he made a big crash in the final lap and finished the race in fifteenth position. In the second moto he took a not so good start but during the first lap he passed several riders and came by start/finish in sixth position. Unfortunately he stalled his bike and lost a lot of time and positions. Micha Boy started a charge back through the field and finally crossed the finish line in fourteenth position. Overall he finished in fifteenth position.

Next weekend the Beursfoon Rockstar Suzuki Team will race their home Grand Prix in Lierop.
