Mike Kras of the Beursfoon Rockstar Suzuki Team finished on the podium at round three of the UEM MX2 Series in Semigorje, Russia. Mike finished in third position in both motos and finished third overall. Micha Boy is still missing some rhythm after his ankle surgery but gave everything he had and finished in thirteenth position in both motos.

Mike and Micha Boy were feeling themselves at home on the sandy circuit in Russia. Mike set the second fastest time in the free practice session and Micha Boy ended the session in seventh position. Mike managed to put a decent lap time together in time practice and set the second fastest time. Micha Boy tried several times to put a fast lap together but made a few mistakes and had to be satisfied with the sixteenth time.

During the day it started to rain and this made the track really wet and muddy before the first moto. Mike managed to take a good start and came out of the first lap in third position. Mike was riding a consistent race and finished the moto in third position. Micha Boy had to start at the middle of the starting gate. He took a good start but in the first corner a rider went wide so he lost several positions there. He started the race around fifteenth position but worked himself back up to fourteenth position in the beginning of the race. Soon after he had a good battle with the fifteenth place rider and both riders changed places a few times. In the middle of the race Micha Boy worked himself up to thirteenth position. Lap after lap he held on to this position but in the closing stages of the moto he dropped back to fourteenth position again. De Waal kept pushing and managed to take his position back and finished the race in thirteenth position.

On Sunday morning the sun was shining and the track was in perfect condition. Mike took a good start and came out of the first lap in third position. Mike was riding a steady race in third position but the leaders were just a little bit faster. Mike was doing his job and managed to finish the race in third position. Micha Boy started the race in fifteenth position. In the beginning of the race he was looking for a place to pass the fourteenth rider. In lap 8 he made a pass stick and moved up to fourteenth position. Micha Boy kept the pace as high as he could and managed to pass one more rider in the closing stages of the race and finished the moto in thirteenth position.

Overall Mike finished in third position and Micha Boy ended the day in fourteenth position. After three rounds Mike sits in third position and Micha Boy is in twelfth position in the championship. In two weeks time the series continues in Loket, the Czech Republic.
