Mike Kras of the Beursfoon Rockstar Suzuki Team has finished on the podium at the Red Bull Pro Nationals in Mill. Kras was riding a strong first moto and managed to finish in fourth position. In the second moto he injured his foot at the start but came back strong and finished the race in seventh position. This position was enough to finish third overall. Micha Boy de Waal finished in fourth position in the MX2 class in the first moto. In the second moto he made a big crash in the beginning of the race. Micha Boy came back into the race after a lap on the sidelines and was classified in tenth position. With these results he finished in fifth position overall in the MX2 class.

Both Beursfoon Rockstar Suzuki riders were motivated to do well in Mill. Mike posted the fastest lap time in the free practice session and was on pole position in time practice for a long time. In the closing stages of the session Marc de Reuver posted a time which was just a little bit faster. Mike ended the session in second position and was satisfied about this. Micha Boy set the eighteenth fastest time which was good for the fourth fastest time in the MX2 class. In the qualifying heat Mike struggled to find his rhythm. Despite this he kept pushing and finished the race in sixteenth position. Micha Boy didn’t took a good start aboard his MX2 machine but started a charge back through the field and passed one rider after another. He finally crossed the finish line in nineteenth position and with this position he was the fourth MX2 rider.

In the first moto on Sunday it was Mike who took a really good start and came out of the first turn inside of the top five. Mike was riding a consistent race and started to put the pressure on the fourth place rider in the closing stages of the race. He made a pass stick and finished the race in fourth position. Micha Boy was riding a strong race and was fighting for second position in the MX2 class. Unfortunately he couldn’t make the difference and finished in fourth position.

The second moto started with some bad luck for the Beursfoon riders. Mike Kras injured his foot at the start and had to start the race in the back of the pack. Due to the pain Mike was thinking to retire from the race but after some laps things started to go better and he managed to pass one rider after another. In an intens battle with Yentel Martens both riders crashed. Mike picked up his bike and still managed to finish the race in seventh position. Micha Boy was charging back through the field after a poor start but made a big crash. Micha Boy was able to come back into the race but had lost a lot of time and had to be satisfied with tenth position in the MX2 class.

Mike finished third overall in the MX1 class and Micha Boy ended the weekend with a fifth position in the MX2 class. The Beursfoon Rockstar Suzuki Team will now travel to Great Britain for round five of the European MX2 Series in Matterley Basin.
