Micha Boy de Waal of the Beursfoon Rockstar Suzuki Team has won Beach on Wheels in Putten, the Netherlands last Saturday. De Waal managed to win both motos and the superfinal.
Micha Boy was riding aboard a Suzuki RM-Z 450 in this race. Normally he is racing aboard a Suzuki RM-Z 250 so he didn’t knew what to expect. In practice he felt himself at home on the bike and had a nice rhythm on the track.
Beach on Wheels was sponsored by Eurol Oil so a lot of Eurol dealers were at this event to enjoy the racing. Mike Kras gave a motorcross clinic on Saturday and 25 riders got tips and learned tricks from the nummer three in the European Championship Series.
Micha Boy was riding a strong race on the beach of Nulde and managed to win both motos and he won the superfinal as well. In this superfinale the best five riders of each class were riding together. The inters had to start one minute behind the group. The race was twelve minutes long so Micha Boy had a lot of work to do to catch all the riders during the race. In the first two laps he took it easy to make no unnecessary mistakes and after these laps he picked up the pace and passed one rider after another. Things were going fine for the talented rider from Veen and he still managed to win the race.
In the coming weeks the Beursfoon Rockstar Suzuki Team will prepare themselves for the final round of the Dutch Open Championship Series in Harfsen on the 21st of October.
